General Overview
Arthouse Preschool is built on a foundation of art education. Art, music, and Spanish drive the curriculum. We are a state licensed preschool providing care from ages 6 weeks to 10 years of age. The preschool has six rooms each with a different theme.

• Sky Room-Six Infants-Two Teachers
• Ocean Room-Seven Toddlers-Two Teachers
• Bug Room-Thirteen Three Year Olds-Two Teachers
• Jungle Room-Six Two Year Olds-One Teacher
• Desert Room-Twenty four preschool children-Three Teachers
• Forest Room-Morning Program Fifteen preschool children-Two Teachers
• Forest Room Afternoon Preschool Program-Eighteen preschool children-Three Teachers
• Forest Room-Fourteen After-School children-One Teacher
• The Forest Afternoon preschool program is taught in collaboration with Waunakee Community Schools

Arthouse Preschool believes in parent involvement and communication. The preschool holds parent-teacher conferences twice a year. There is also regular correspondence with monthly newsletter from management and classroom teachers. The school also holds family socials on a regular basis.

History
Arthouse Preschool has been open since September of 2006 and was established by Heather Murray and Amanda Recob. Heather and Amanda wanted to provide quality care for children in the community of Waunakee where Heather resides. Heather and Amanda also believe that the arts enhance the development of any age child, especially for the children before they start elementary school. Amanda and Heather have experience with many ages of children and many types of early childhood educational philosophies, including traditional preschool, Montessori, Reggio Emilia.
